GAIA Reinsurance is a professional reinsurer specialising in providing reinsurance capacity and risk management solutions to the insurance markets. We work closely with the Insurance Industry Internationally but predominately in Africa and Asia. 

GAIA Re was incorporated in Dubai in 2020 for the purposes of providing reinsurance services in Africa, Asia and in selected regional countries and are registered to carry on reinsurance business activity outside Dubai.

Our expertise lies not only in the conventional Insurance area where capacity is required for protection of assets but in the more complicated area of Financial Protection through products such as Surety Bonds. 

GAIA Re is run by Managing Director Keith D. Smith, who has over 40 years’ experience in International Insurance and Reinsurance; Keith is a strategic leader with a strong background in Surety and Financial Risks.
